Automotive / Powersports Dealership
Bulldog Harley-Davidson is an independent dealership in Smithfield, North Carolina. Owner Carson Baker rebuilt the longtime Shelton's Harley-Davidson into one of the fastest-growing Harley-Davidson dealers in the country, and the shop runs high volume across sales, service, and parts. Every call the team cannot get to is service work or a sale left on the table.

The Challenge
For a high-volume dealership, the phone is the front door, and the team can only pick up so much of it.
Riders call all day to check repair status, book service, price a part, or ask about a bike. When the crew is helping in-person customers, those calls compete for attention, hold times stretch, and the same routine questions pile up on people who should be selling and turning wrenches.
An unanswered call is not just a lost conversation. It is the service appointment, the recall repair, or the sale behind it, gone. Nights and weekends, when the store is closed, those calls go straight to voicemail and most never call back.
Bulldog's performance groups and consultants were pushing dealers to adopt AI, but the GM had watched technology get bolted on everywhere and fail. He wanted a vendor that would tell him the truth about what it could and could not do, and a rollout he could manage instead of a black box.
All the business that used to slip through the cracks, contacts we didn't even know we'd missed, is back at the top of the funnel. The AI catches it, hands it to the team, and it's, 'Okay, cool, I just need to call this person.' We're starting business we didn't know we were missing.
What Revmo Provided
Revmo's AI voice agent picks up across sales, service, and parts. It books service appointments and recall repairs, checks a caller's service history before it schedules, and when a question needs a specialist it routes the caller to the right person with the full context of the conversation, so nobody starts over.
The agent connects to the dealership's Lightspeed DMS with a secure connection to live data. It recognizes returning riders, pulls their history, and answers parts and repair-status questions on the call instead of putting anyone on hold or promising a callback that may never happen.
The calls that used to hit voicemail at night and on weekends now get answered and booked. Just as important, the contacts the shop never knew it was missing get surfaced back to the team the next morning, at the top of the funnel, ready to work.
Revmo went live the way the GM insisted: scoped to what it does well, with straight answers on where it fits and where a person still belongs, and a team that stays close. Instead of a spray-and-pray rollout, Bulldog got a phone line it could trust and expand on its own terms.
By the Numbers
I put every vendor through the wringer. A lot of them chased scale over quality, or gave me answers that didn't add up. Revmo stayed focused on getting one thing right and told me straight what works and what they couldn't know yet. They make us feel like we're their only client.
The Results
1,198 calls answered in the first eight weeks: 801 served end to end, the other 397 routed with full context.
Eight appointments booked after hours recovered an estimated $37,000 the voicemail-and-callback model simply lost.
Contacts the team never knew it had missed now get caught, dispersed to the right person, and worked.
Revmo handled 9.6 hours of live conversation and booked 69 appointments, so the crew stayed with the riders in front of them.
Key Takeaways
Bulldog runs a high-volume shop and needed an agent that could keep up with service, parts, and sales without dropping the customer experience, and a rollout it could manage. It got both.
Sales, service, and parts lines covered without dropping the customer experience, even at a shop this busy.
Scoped, managed deployment with straight answers on capabilities and limits, no black box.
